Finca Lerida is a special coffee with notes of jasmine flowers, pipe tobacco, walnuts, caramel and ripe peach. Our friends at Mostra helped source this coffee and roast it to compliment the flavor profile of this stout. We also used a very nice black sesame paste that gives a character similar to peanut butter, only a much more sophisticated version. And last we added a blend of Tahitian and Madagascar vanillas to create a more complex flavor profile. It’s always exciting to work on a new stout with our pals at J. Wakefield and Mostra.
