Witchstock 2017

September 30 2017

Earlier this summer we invited 15 breweries from North America, the UK and Europe, to participate in Witchstock 2017 and believe it or not, they ALL said yes. We invite you to roam around the brewery, meet people who make some pretty amazing beer, and help us celebrate what has been an exciting year for us at Bellwoods.

The occasion: Witchstock 2017

The date and time: Saturday Sept. 30th. First Session – 12:00pm – 3:00pm, Second Session – 4:00pm – 7:00pm.

The location: 20 Hafis Road, Toronto. Pouring will happen indoors throughout the brewery, with a small beer garden and food
vendors outdoors.

The breweries: Beavertown – Burdock – De La Senne – Dunham – Evil Twin – Four Winds –  Godspeed – Indie Ale House – J. Wakefield – Left Field – Other Half – Oxbow – Pen Druid – Trillium – Trou Du Diable – and Bellwoods.

Tickets: Tickets go on sale Tuesday September 5th at 10:00am sharp. Tickets are $45 (+ applicable tax and service fees) per session, and will be sold exclusively online through our website. Only 350 tickets will be sold per session. Included in your ticket is 4 (5 oz. pour) tokens, a custom Witchstock 2017 glass, a Witchstock 2017 sticker.

Beer cost: Additional tokens will be $3.00 for a 5 oz. pour and will be available for purchase with cash or card (debit/MC/VISA). There will be an ATM on-site.

The beer line up: A list hasn’t been finalized at this point, but it’s safe to say you can expect to see a solid selection of beers from each brewery, some of which have yet to be poured in Canada, or maybe ever… No need to stress though, the same beer in the same quantity will be available at both sessions.

You can also expect a number of special releases in our on-site retail shop. Any special retail releases will be exclusively available to festival attendees on the day of the festival. Any remaining stock of special retail releases will be released in the days after the festival.

The merch: Limited edition t-shirts and posters will be available for pre-order when purchasing your ticket. A very small number of t-shirts and screen printed posters will be available on site the day of the festival. To avoid disappointment we would strongly suggest taking advantage of the pre-order opportunity.

The food: Local food vendors will be keeping you fed (please eat!). Vendors will be accepting cash and/or card.

Getting there and back: Please, do not drive! A FREE shuttle bus will be leaving Lawrence West Station for Hafis Rd. starting at 11:00am, and will go continuously until the last person has left the second session at Hafis Rd. The bus will be leaving Lawrence West Station approximately every 20 minutes. Alternatively, the TTC bus leaves Lawrence West Station every 5 mins and drops off at Lawrence & Benton. The brewery is only a 5 min walk from there (10 minutes, if you’re moseying). Volunteers will be at Lawrence West Station to provide you with shuttle and transit information. Parking is extremely limited in the area. Anyone parking in unauthorized parking areas runs the risk of being towed. Please take advantage of the transportation services available to you.
