BK: Only street parking is available near the brewery – Court Street is the most likely to have spots available. Please do not park in McDonald’s parking lot; you are likely to get ticketed and/or towed.
FLX: Please do not park on NY 5-20! We have parking for around 50 cars in the taproom lot. If the lot is full, be considerate of our neighbors and don’t park in the lots of other businesses. Additional parking is available next door in the old nursery. Alternatively, use a car service (Uber, Lyft, local taxi co.) so you can hang as long as you’d like, and have someone else drive you home!
DC: Parking is available in the parking garage on the north side of Okie Street. Look for the red “Park” signs and the light up arrow. The garage is free for the first 90 minutes.
DOMINO: Street parking is available near the brewery or there is a paid garage on Kent between S 3rd and S 4th.
Our website and Untappd are both kept up to date with can/bottle availability. Please check the location-specific page of our website for more details as our offering varies by location. New beers are announced via our Instagram pages @otherhalfnyc, @otherhalf.flx, @otherhalfdc, or @otherhalfdominopark. Cans are always for sale in our taproom (unless we’re sold out).
Nope! While we’ll offer some of the same beers in all locations, each location has its own specialties. We do offer beer from all locations at our Brooklyn taprooms, but the best way to sample beer from different locations is by purchasing beer for shipping.
All locations have some light food options (i.e Jerky, Popcorn, Nachos, Nuts etc.) but if you’re really hungry, you can bring in any food you’d like. We have some recommendations by location below. If you do bring in food, please be sure to clean up after yourself 🙂
BK: Court Street Grocers (sandwiches), Table 87 (pizza)
FLX: Dine with our neighbors at Irish Mafia or Mugsy’s
DC: Baker’s Daughter is just across Okie Street!
We aren’t currently offering private events or tours due to COVID-19. In non-COVID times, you can find more details by location:

Most of our merchandise can be purchased through the online store, however, sometimes we have merchandise that can be purchased physically in our store. Please visit the taproom at 195 Centre street to see what we have in store!
There is minimal street parking on Centre St in front of the brewery, as well as Smith St. and Court St. We recommend parking across Hamilton Ave. Do NOT park in McDonald’s lot – they will have your car towed.
We self-distribute. If you own a bar or restaurant and are interested in wholesale, please email [email protected] for availability and scheduling.
If you are interested in purchasing for your home or office, please fill the form out by clicking here.
Many bars and restaurants in NYC have our beer on their draft lines and many use beermenus.com to update often.
The craft beer industry is often made up of sameness: predictable styles, formulaic taprooms, and a homogeneous culture. Some of it is good and some of it not so good. Either way, we’re not that.
We’re the Other Half.
The only non-vegan ingredient we use for some of our beers is Lactose/Milk Sugar.
Due to legalities and our demand to supply both our tasting room and surrounding bars and restaurants, we are unable to do so at this time.
We are working to increase capacity, but we currently are only able to distribute to Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and a small portion of the Hudson Valley.
Cans are available for purchase at the brewery directly. We also supply local bars and restaurants with different varieties. You can also search untapped to see if a bar near you carries our product!
We have been open since January 30, 2014.
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover.
We are constantly growing, we are constantly considering applications. Please click HERE if you are interested in learning more.
