Hop Madness 2025 Bracket Sweepstakes – Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED

1. SPONSOR

The Hop Madness 2025 Bracket Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Other Half Brewing Co. (“Sponsor”), with its principal place of business at 195 Centre St, Brooklyn, NY 11231. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins on March 10, 2025 and ends on March 14, 2025, at 11:59 AM ET (“Entry Period”). Entries submitted outside the Entry Period will not be eligible.

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, participants must:

  1. Visit the designated Hop Madness 2025 Bracket Sweepstakes landing page (https://otherhalfbrewing.com/hop-madness-bracket-sweepstakes)
  2. Complete the entry form by providing:
    • Full Name
    • Valid Email Address
    • Selection of the beer they predict will be crowned the Hop Madness 2025 Champion
  3. Submit the completed entry form during the Entry Period.

Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person/email will be disqualified. No automated entries, scripts, macros, or other technical means of entry are permitted.

5. DETERMINATION OF WINNER

  • The Hop Madness Bracket competition will take place through Instagram Stories voting at Instagram.com/OtherHalfNYC, where beers will advance through the bracket based on popular vote.
  • At the conclusion of the tournament, one (1) Grand Prize Winner (“Winner”) will be selected at random from the pool of eligible participants who correctly predicted the Hop Madness Champion.
  • The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, and the decision is final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

6. PRIZE & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”)

One (1) Winner will receive the Hop Madness Prize Pack, which includes:

  • One (1) Hop Madness Hoodie
  • One (1) Hop Madness Glass
  • One (1) $100 Other Half Brewing Gift Card

Total ARV of Prize: $175.00.

Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

  • The potential Winner will be notified via the email provided during entry within ten (10) days of the contest ending.
  • The potential Winner must respond within 48 hours of the initial notification. If the potential Winner does not respond within 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate Winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
  • The Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release (where permitted by law) within seven (7) days of notification.
  • If the selected Winner is ineligible, fails to claim the prize, or violates the official rules, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Official Rules.
  • Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries due to technical or human error.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, or update these Official Rules, at any time at its sole discretion, with or without notice, subject to applicable law. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Sweepstakes website. In the event of early termination, Sponsor reserves the right to select a winner from all eligible entries received prior to termination, if deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.

9. RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or Sweepstakes administration; (b) technical errors that may affect the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines, networks, servers, or software; (c) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (d) late, lost, stolen, undeliverable, misdirected, or damaged entries or notifications; or (e) injury, death, or damage to persons or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, adjust, or determine bracket matchups, voting results, or tournament outcomes in the event of technological limitations, errors, or circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control, including but not limited to polling malfunctions, human error, or discrepancies in recorded votes. Sponsor’s decisions shall be final and binding in such cases

Entrants further agree that, in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees.

10. PRIVACY POLICY

By entering, you agree to Sponsor’s collection and use of personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at https://otherhalfbrewing.com/privacy-policy.

11. GOVERNING LAW

The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of New York.

12. WINNER LIST

To obtain the name of the Winner (first name and last initial only), mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Other Half Brewing Co., 195 Centre St, Brooklyn, NY 11231, Attn: Hop Madness 2025 Sweepstakes Winner Request within thirty (30) days after the Winner is announced.
