We opened Other Half Bloomfield in 2018 as a true farmhouse brewery on 8 acres to explore our connection to local agriculture and wild yeast through spontaneous and mixed-fermentation brewing.
Located just 30 minutes outside of Rochester and minutes from Canandaigua Lake, Other Half Bloomfield is both a destination and a local taproom. Featuring over 20 of our craft IPAs, lagers, sours, stouts, and seltzers on draft and by the can, along with ample indoor and outdoor seating and a food truck serving up tasty snacks every Tuesday through Sunday.
There might be even more flannel here than in Brooklyn!

We have answers
We have an Other Half food truck parked on site 7 days a week serving up fresh snacks, apps, and mains. We also have a selection of rotating snacks (i.e Jerky, Chips, etc.) available for when the food truck is closed. You are also welcome to bring your own food or order delivery to the taproom when the food truck is closed. In the area, we recommend our neighbors at Irish Mafia or Mugsy’s and we have menus available for ordering delivery.
We offer seating on a first come, first served basis. If you’d like to make an event booking to secure a dedicated space for a group, please click here for more information.
Kids are welcome as long as they’re well behaved and closely supervised. We are a functioning brewery so it is important for your children’s safety that you keep them close at all times!
Dogs are welcome as long as they’re leashed, well behaved, and like to get pets from our staff 🙂
Please do not park on NY 5-20! We have parking for around 50 cars in the taproom lot. If the lot is full, be considerate of our neighbors and don’t park in the lots of other businesses. Additional parking is available next door in the old nursery at your own risk. Alternatively, use a car service (Uber, Lyft, local taxi co.) so you can hang as long as you’d like, and have someone else drive you home!
Most of our merchandise can be purchased through the online store, but we always make sure to have a selection of merch available in our taprooms as well.
